So, You're moving to the Atlanta area...

You likely have an endless list of questions. Which neighborhood is right for us? Where do I learn about schools and employers, local taxes and financing? How many roads have the word “Peachtree” in them, and which direction do I go on 285? Where do I even begin? Don't fret... if you're here, you're in the right place.

Whether you're relocating to the Atlanta area for a new job, a change of scenery, to be closer to family, or to retire, we can help make your move successful and stress-free. In order for you to feel more confident about a move, it's important to know about your new hometown. As longtime residents of Georgia, we know the area well. We can give you an overview of the local neighborhoods, as well as aid in your search for the best place that fits your lifestyle, budget and comfort zone.

How can we purchase a home from afar?

Don’t worry! We’ve done this plenty of times. We suggest that you first come to Atlanta. We get to know each other and get a feeling for the areas and types of homes you like. We will spend plenty of time with you while you are here, and if you find something during your initial visit, that is fabulous! If you don’t, no need to fret! We’ll keep actively looking while you are wrapping things up in your old hometown. We will keep you posted on what is coming on the market and if we see a home that looks like a good fit, we’ll visit it for you. Upon our home tour, if it seems like a GREAT fit, we’ll film a detailed, narrated video tour and upload it for you.  We’ve had several clients go under contract on homes they hadn’t seen, fly out to see it in person, and then purchase the home about 30 days later. We can arrange for inspectors and contractors as needed and make the transaction happen via email, phone, fax and text.  You can even close from a distance if needed.

Our repertoire of past clients includes clients from throughout the entire world: China, Ghana, Somalia, Niger, Republic of Georgia (Russia), Sweden, Great Britain, Finland, India, and the U.S., of course.
